Hey! My name is emma Jonker

I began my sports photography journey in September 2024 with the Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs, where I gradually built my business and eventually became the team’s official photographer.
If you know me, you know hockey holds a special place in my heart. I grew up a die-hard Flames fan, proudly showing my love for the team whenever I could. My passion for the sport is deeply inspired by Johnny Gaudreau — his dedication and heart for the game played a huge role in sparking my own love for hockey. This journey is dedicated to him and his brother Matthew <3.
My experience began at the Jr. A level, but it quickly expanded after I started shooting for the SAIT Trojans. From there, I worked my way up to photographing WHL games as a student photographer, capturing moments for teams like the Calgary Hitmen and the Lethbridge Hurricanes. This journey also led me to a few select Hockey Canada events, where I provided photo coverage for the Calgary Canucks, supplying images for their social media platforms, to end off my 2024/25
season.
creating memories for athletes.
As a former college athlete who couldn't fully express myself on the court, I’ve found purpose behind the lens — capturing the moments I once longed for. Now, I create lasting memories for those who get to live out their passion for the game.
